Warranty Policy
Warranty Policy
Skeri Bikes stands behind the quality and performance of our products. This Limited Warranty covers eligible Skeri Bikes products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use.
This Limited Warranty applies only to products purchased and used within the United States.
1. Warranty Eligibility
This Limited Warranty applies to the original retail purchaser of a new Skeri bike purchased directly from Skeri Bikes or through an authorized Skeri Bikes sales channel in the United States.
The warranty is non-transferable and does not apply to subsequent owners or second-hand purchases.
Proof of purchase may be required for warranty service.
The warranty period begins on the original date of delivery. Repair or replacement of a product or component does not restart or extend the original warranty period.
2. Warranty Coverage
Skeri Bikes provides a one (1) year Limited Warranty on the components listed below.
If Skeri Bikes determines that an eligible component has a defect in materials or workmanship, Skeri Bikes will repair or replace the affected component, as appropriate.
| Component | Warranty Period | Coverage Details |
| Frame | 1 Year | Covers manufacturing defects that affect the structural integrity or normal function of the frame. Damage caused by crashes, impacts, overloading, extreme stunt use, corrosion, unauthorized modification, or normal wear is not covered. |
| Battery | 1 Year | Covers battery malfunction caused by manufacturing defects. Normal capacity loss and degradation resulting from age, use, charging cycles, or ordinary battery wear are not covered. The warranty period for a repaired or replaced battery remains based on the original delivery date and does not restart. |
| Motor | 1 Year | Covers manufacturing defects that cause the motor to fail or operate abnormally under normal use. Damage caused by unauthorized modification, improper installation, overloading, water intrusion beyond the specified protection level, or operation outside the product's stated limits is not covered. |
| Controller & Electrical Components | 1 Year | Covers the controller, display, wiring, sensors, switches, and other original electrical components against manufacturing defects. Damage caused by unauthorized electrical modifications, incompatible accessories, improper wiring, short circuits caused by misuse, or improper exposure to water is not covered. |
| Charger | 1 Year | Damage caused by improper use, physical damage, unsuitable power sources, water exposure, unauthorized modification, or use with an incompatible battery is not covered. |
| Original Parts & Components | 1 Year | Covers manufacturing defects in original Skeri Bikes components supplied with the bike, including the handlebar, stem, fork, suspension components, seat, foot pegs, brake components, wheels, lights, controls, and other original equipment. Eligible defective parts will be repaired or replaced as appropriate. Normal wear items and damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modification are not covered. |
Warranty coverage is subject to inspection, diagnosis, and approval by Skeri Bikes.
Shipping, labor, and third-party repair costs are handled separately as described in Section 9 – Shipping, Repair and Labor Costs.
3. Battery Warranty
The original Skeri battery is covered against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the original date of delivery.
Battery capacity naturally decreases over time. Normal capacity loss resulting from age, use, charging cycles, or ordinary degradation is not considered a manufacturing defect.
The battery warranty does not cover damage caused by:
-
Improper charging or use of an incompatible or unauthorized charger;
-
Improper storage or prolonged storage in a discharged state;
-
Exposure to temperatures outside the specified operating or storage range;
-
Physical impact, collision, misuse, or abuse;
-
Water exposure beyond the product's specified protection level;
-
Opening, modifying, or tampering with the battery; or
-
Use with a product for which the battery was not designed.
A repaired or replaced battery remains covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.
4. What Is Not Covered
This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:
-
Normal wear and tear;
-
Accidents, crashes, collisions, or impacts;
-
Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper storage;
-

-
Failure to follow the Owner's Manual or Skeri Bikes' instructions;
-
Unauthorized modifications or alterations;
-
Use of incompatible or unauthorized parts or accessories;
-
Overloading or operation beyond the product's stated specifications or design limits;
-
Competitive racing or extreme stunt use;
-
Commercial or rental use;
-
Improper exposure to water, moisture, salt, chemicals, or extreme environmental conditions;
-
Fire, flooding, theft, vandalism, natural disasters, or other external causes;
-
Removal or alteration of product serial numbers or identification markings; or
-
Cosmetic damage that does not affect normal operation or safety.
Normal recreational off-road and trail riding within the product's intended use and operating limits is not excluded from warranty coverage solely because it occurs off-road.
5. Normal Wear and Tear
Parts that naturally wear through normal use are not covered unless the issue is determined to result from a manufacturing defect.
Wear items include, but are not limited to:
Tires, inner tubes, brake pads, brake rotors, chains, sprockets, grips, bearings, seals, cables, and suspension wear components.
Normal scratches, fading, discoloration, and cosmetic wear are also not covered.
6. Modifications and Unauthorized Repairs
Damage caused by unauthorized modification, alteration, or repair is not covered.
This includes modifications to the motor, battery, controller, electrical system, wiring, firmware, power or speed settings, or other components when the modification causes or contributes to the claimed failure.
The installation of a third-party component does not automatically exclude unrelated warranty coverage where prohibited by applicable law. However, damage caused by or related to that component may not be covered.
Customers should contact Skeri Bikes before performing repairs related to a potential warranty claim.

To submit a warranty claim, contact Skeri Bikes Customer Support and provide:

8. Warranty Remedies
For an approved warranty claim, Skeri Bikes may, as appropriate:
-
Repair the defective component;
-
Provide a replacement component;
-
Replace the affected product when repair or component replacement is not reasonably appropriate; or
-
Provide another remedy as required by applicable law.
Replacement parts may be new or functionally equivalent parts of comparable quality and functionality.
Replacement or repair does not restart or extend the original warranty period.
9. Shipping, Repair and Labor Costs
Responsibility for shipping, repair, replacement, and labor costs depends on the cause of the issue and warranty eligibility.
If Skeri Bikes determines that an issue is covered under this Limited Warranty and is attributable to a defect for which Skeri Bikes is responsible, Skeri Bikes will cover reasonable and approved costs associated with the warranty remedy, including applicable replacement-part shipping within the United States.
If the issue results from misuse, accident, improper assembly, unauthorized modification, normal wear and tear, or another condition not covered by this warranty, the customer is responsible for applicable parts, shipping, repair, and labor costs.
Third-Party Repairs
If third-party repair or professional service is required for an approved warranty claim, prior authorization from Skeri Bikes is required.
Customers must contact Skeri Bikes before arranging third-party service. Unauthorized repair, diagnostic, installation, or labor expenses will not be reimbursed.
Reasonable costs for services authorized by Skeri Bikes in advance may be covered or reimbursed according to the authorization provided.
