Safety Disclaimer

Skeri Bikes are designed for outdoor recreation and off-road riding. Riding an electric dirt bike involves inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury, property damage, or death.
Please read and follow all safety instructions, warnings, and product documentation before riding. Always ride responsibly, within your abilities, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

1.Intended Use

Skeri Bikes products are designed primarily for recreational off-road use, unless otherwise specifically stated for a particular model.
Always operate the bike within its stated specifications, load limits, environmental limits, and intended riding conditions.
Do not use the bike for purposes or under conditions for which it was not designed.
Competitive racing, extreme stunts, intentional jumps beyond the product's design limits, overloading, or other abusive use may significantly increase the risk of injury and product damage.

2.Know Your Local Laws

Laws governing electric dirt bikes and other electric motorized vehicles vary by state, county, city, and riding location.
Depending on the product specifications and local regulations, a Skeri bike may not qualify as a conventional electric bicycle and may be restricted from use on:
  • Public streets and roads;
  • Bike lanes and bicycle paths;
  • Sidewalks;
  • Public parks or trails;
  • Public lands; or
  • Other areas where motorized vehicles are restricted.
It is the rider's responsibility to understand and comply with all applicable laws and regulations before operating a Skeri bike.
These may include requirements relating to registration, licensing, minimum rider age, helmets and protective equipment, insurance, vehicle classification, speed or power limits, and permitted riding areas.
Skeri Bikes does not represent that any particular model is legal for use on public roads or in any specific location unless expressly stated.

3.Rider Age & Supervision

Riders must meet the minimum age requirements specified for the applicable Skeri Bikes model and comply with all applicable local laws.
Minors should operate a Skeri bike only when permitted by applicable law and under appropriate adult supervision.
Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether a minor has the physical ability, judgment, experience, and maturity necessary to operate the product safely.
Never allow an inexperienced rider to operate the bike without proper instruction and supervision.

4.Protective Gear

Always wear appropriate protective equipment while riding.
At a minimum, riders should wear a properly fitted and securely fastened helmet that meets applicable safety standards.
Depending on riding conditions, additional protective equipment is strongly recommended, including:
  • Eye protection or goggles;
  • Gloves;
  • Over-the-ankle riding boots;
  • Long sleeves and long pants;
  • Knee and elbow protection; and
  • Appropriate body protection for off-road riding.
Protective equipment can reduce the risk or severity of injury but cannot eliminate all risks associated with riding.

5.Pre-Ride Safety Check

Inspect your Skeri bike before every ride.
Check that:
  • Brakes operate properly;
  • Tires are properly inflated and undamaged;
  • Wheels and axles are secure;
  • Steering and handlebars operate correctly;
  • Chain and drivetrain components are properly adjusted;
  • Battery is securely installed;
  • Controls and electrical systems operate normally;
  • Fasteners and critical components are secure; and
  • There are no visible signs of damage or abnormal wear.
Do not ride the bike if you discover damage, loose components, abnormal operation, or any condition that may affect safe operation.
Contact Skeri Bikes Customer Support or a qualified service provider when necessary.

6.Ride Within Your Limits

Electric dirt bikes can accelerate quickly and reach speeds that require experience, judgment, and proper riding technique.
Riders should become familiar with the bike's throttle response, braking, handling, power delivery, and riding modes in a controlled environment before attempting higher speeds or challenging terrain.
Always adjust your riding to:
  • Your skill and experience level;
  • Terrain and trail conditions;
  • Visibility;
  • Weather;
  • Other riders and vehicles; and
  • Available stopping distance.
Do not ride under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medication, or any substance that may impair judgment, coordination, or reaction time.

7.Terrain, Weather & Water

Off-road terrain can contain unpredictable hazards, including loose surfaces, rocks, roots, holes, steep grades, obstacles, mud, and sudden changes in traction.
Reduce speed and exercise additional caution in unfamiliar or changing conditions.
Do not operate the bike in water deeper than permitted by the product specifications, and never intentionally submerge the bike, battery, motor, controller, or other electrical components.
Avoid riding in conditions that exceed the product's specified environmental or water-resistance limits.

8.Battery & Charging Safety

Lithium-ion batteries contain significant stored energy and must be handled carefully.
Always:
  • Use only the battery and charger specified or approved by Skeri Bikes;
  • Follow all charging instructions provided with the product;
  • Charge in a dry, well-ventilated area away from flammable materials;
  • Place the charger and battery on a stable, non-combustible surface while charging;
  • Keep the battery away from excessive heat, open flames, and direct fire;
  • Inspect the battery and charger regularly for damage; and
  • Store the battery according to the instructions in the Owner's Manual.
Do not charge or use a battery that is damaged, swollen, leaking, unusually hot, producing an unusual odor, or otherwise showing signs of abnormal operation.
Do not open, puncture, crush, modify, short-circuit, or intentionally damage the battery.
If a battery has been involved in a significant crash or impact, stop using it until it has been appropriately inspected.

9.Modifications

Unauthorized modifications can affect the safety, reliability, handling, and legal classification of the bike.
Do not modify or bypass safety-related systems or make unauthorized changes to the:
  • Battery;
  • Motor;
  • Controller;
  • Wiring or electrical system;
  • Firmware;
  • Braking system;
  • Frame or suspension; or
  • Factory power or speed settings.
Use only compatible components and accessories that are suitable for the specific Skeri Bikes model.
Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications may also affect warranty coverage as described in the Skeri Bikes Limited Warranty.

10.Maintenance & Repairs

Proper maintenance is essential for safe operation.
Follow the inspection and maintenance schedule provided in the Owner's Manual and replace worn or damaged components when necessary.
Repairs involving critical components—including the braking system, battery, motor, controller, electrical system, frame, and suspension—should be performed according to Skeri Bikes' instructions or by an appropriately qualified service provider.
Stop using the bike immediately if you believe a condition may compromise safe operation.

11.Assumption of Risk

Riding an electric dirt bike involves inherent and unavoidable risks.
These risks may include loss of control, falls, collisions, terrain hazards, mechanical failure, and interactions with other riders, vehicles, objects, or environmental conditions.
By operating a Skeri bike, the rider acknowledges these inherent risks and accepts responsibility for operating the product safely, responsibly, and within their abilities.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits any rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12.Product Information

Product specifications, performance, range, speed, and other characteristics may vary based on factors including:
rider weight, terrain, temperature, riding style, battery condition, tire pressure, speed, riding mode, and environmental conditions.
Published performance figures are provided for reference based on specified or controlled testing conditions and should not be interpreted as guaranteed results under all riding conditions.
Always refer to the product page and Owner's Manual for specifications and operating limits applicable to your specific model.
